A Global Energy Company
(Fortune 10) was evaluating establishing its third
global centre for technology and innovation in
India (First time outside its parent countries)
to deliver advanced technical studies, projects
and services for the group around the world. In
order to do this the company needed a mix of mature
talent amongst Indian professionals from around
the world as well as a steady pipeline of fresh
graduates cutting across 25 technical disciplines.
The challenge was compounded by lack of information
available in the public domain.
Our team developed an innovative strategy to
map this niche industry and also conceived of
a program to source reliable data on
|
• |
The mature talent available in the
country and forecast pipeline of talent that would
emerge in the coming years. |
• |
The mature talent that was currently working outside
India and willing to relocate back, their needs
and aspirations. |
• |
The estimated fresh talent pool that would be
available in the next decade for each of these 25
technical disciplines. |
| |
| The rigour of implementing
this program is evidenced by the fact that within
18 months of start up of the India centre the organization
has already started accessing the talent mapped. |
